 About the performer:

Born in 1965, in Bucharest, Romania, Arthur Hart emigrated to the United States at age seven, and began piano studies shortly thereafter.  At age 9 he was accepted to the Julliard School as a scholarship student, where he studied for twelve years, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in piano performance.   During this formative period he was awarded numerous top prizes in piano

competitions.  They included Julliard's Concerto and Gina Bachauer competitions, the  1980 AMSA international competition in Cincinnati, the 1982 YKAA International Competition in Grand Rapids, the 1981 Kosciuszko Chopin in New York, and most notably, the American soloist. Reviewing his performance at the Newport Music Festival of 1985, Benard Holland of the New York Times declared him "unquestionably a name to watch for."  Musical studies continued at the Vienna Music Academy from 1989 to 1994 where he was awarded scholarships in European piano competitions included top prizes in the 1989 Schubert and 20th Century Music Competition in Graz, the 1990 Contemporary Piano Music Competition of the Vienna Music Academy, the 1992 Maria Callas Piano Competition at Athens, and the 1994 Claude Khan European Piano Competition in Paris. After graduating from the Vienna Music Academy, Mr. Hart's studies took a less institutional turn, returning to the heartland of the United States to live in St. Louis. He worked there as an apprentice piano technician for a while, continuing his practice where he worked. There he embarked on massive performance projects which included Beethoven's 32 Piano Sonatas, Bach's complete Well-Tempered Clavier, and the 9 Beethoven Symphonies in Liszt's Piano. Transcription, as well as recording Chopin's 24 Etudes. During periods when change from the intense musical work was needed, Mr Hart Worked as a laborer in Tulsa, Oklahoma in fields as diverse as bottling, galvanizing and landfill management. Practicing at churches, he became active as a church musician and composer. In 2000 he was appointed Educational Music Director for Opera Carolina, and the following season, was selected artist-in-residence for the International Piano Guild in Palm Beach where he performed the entirety of Chopin's solo piano output in weekly concerts. Drawn back to the country's heartland Mr. Hart has been living in Memphis,k Tennessee, for the past 12 years, working as a collaborative pianist with the University of Memphis. As a composer, his primary effort is as set of operatic piano studies called "Cosmic Ladybug". He performs regularly at the CICA Music Festival as soloist and chamber musician, and has been revising the foundations of fingering in the art of piano playing.

2016 Arthur Hart and Friends:
Stevie Wonder's Singed Sealed and Delivered
Highland Ave. Memphis TN

R P Billiards Restaurant Address: 525 S Highland St, Memphis, TN 38111 Phone:(901) 452-6203 Menu: locu.com ~ Samuel "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" is a soul single by Stevie Wonder, recorded for Motown's Tamla label. Released in June 1970, the song spent six weeks at number one on the U.S. R&B chart and peaked at number three on the U.S. Pop chart. In the same year, the song was also released on the album Signed, Sealed & Delivered. The song was a series of firsts for the 20-year-old Wonder: "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" was the first single Wonder produced on his own, and was also the first to feature his female backup singing group composed of Lynda Tucker Laurence (who went on to become a member of The Supremes), Syreeta Wright (who also co-wrote the song), and Venetta Fields. During a 2008 appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, he credited the song title and chorus "signed, sealed, delivered, I'm yours" to his mother Lula, who exclaimed the words after listening to her son experiment with the melody. This song also marked Wonder's first Grammy nomination. The award went to Ronald Dunbar and General Johnson for writing the Clarence Carter song "Patches". * Acoustic Guitar * Vocals * Harmonica,
